Alvaro Negredo is delighted with his first months at Manchester City.
A muscular 6ft 1ins, Negredo earned his nickname 'The Beast of Vallecas' from his team-mates at Seville for a robust, enthusiastic approach that he believes will be well suited to the Premier League.
"I like English football," said Negredo. "It's just what I was expecting - a lot of coming and going. The players have so much quality they can keep the ball and you have to run and run.
"It's very intense, but I am happy. It's to my taste and hopefully I will keep getting better."
