Alvaro Negredo is excited about Manchester City's title chances this season.

City's new boss Manuel Pellegrini believes he has the best strikeforce in the Premier League with Negredo, Edin Dzeko, Sergio Aguero and Stevan Jovetic making up his awesome foursome.

Negredo said: "It is an honour to be part of a squad like this.

"Pellegrini is known for the attractive style of his football. That is why he had a long and successful career in Spain because his teams played excellent football.

"It didn't matter whether he was at Villarreal, Real Madrid or Malaga - his teams always played attacking football. I am sure that is why City wanted him."
