Real Sociedad impressed in Nicosia as they won 0-2 against Omonia in their Europa League tie.

La Real was led by a brilliant Robert Navarro, scorer of the first goal and providing the assist for the second for Brais Méndez.

This result allows La Real to move forward, decisive but not definitive, to be group winners and qualify for the round of 16 of the Europa League.

It is not a mathematical yet, because Manchester United won their game against Sheriff Tiraspol, so both will play for it all in the 'final' next Thursday, with a clear advantage for La Real.

Their victory at Old Trafford is worth its weight in gold as even with a 0-1 defeat next week they can finish as first in the group.
