Napoli captain Paolo Cannavaro says Edinson Cavani has made a huge impact since his arrival from Palermo.

The 23-year-old Uruguay international has scored eight goals in his first 10 appearances for the Partenopei this season.

"By goodness I hope that he keeps going like this," Cannavaro told Radio Marte.

"Napoli buys men first, then footballers, so in a group like ours it's easy to adapt.

"Edy is difficult to mark because he has great physical strength."
