Napoli are into the Coppa Italia final after thumping AS Roma last night.

The Giallorossi had the upper hand with a 3-2 first leg victory, but Napoli thrashed Roma 3-0.

Gonzalo Higuain was "overjoyed" to send Napoli to the Coppa Italia Final, scoring in front of Diego Maradona.

"I am very happy. It is a night to celebrate, a fantastic game to beat a great side 3-0. We deserved the Final and so did these fans. I am overjoyed," Pipita told Rai Sport.

"I think Napoli did well over the two legs and scored goals when we most needed to. I am happy Napoli are in the Final.

"The defence did very well tonight. We deserved this Final and worked very hard. It's wonderful to see the stadium like this.

"I am happy with the team and want to thank my teammates."
