Napoli president Aurelio de Laurentiis has warned fans they must be careful in the transfer market with plans for a new stadium also on the agenda.
De Laurentiis says they will buy this summer, however.
He explained: "If we are not competitive economically then we cannot invest 300m for a new stadium. We are ready to sign a three-year agreement, then in February 2015 we will present a project to the City Council.
"We are ready to invest, but wisely."
