Napoli president Aurelio de Laurentiis is prepared to sell the club, it has been claimed.

The Daily Mail says Qatar Sports Investments are in contact with De Laurentiis about buying the Serie A giants.

ADL's other club, Bari, is also interesting QSI.

Angelo Pisani, once employed as Diego Maradona's lawyer, revealed: "The feeling is that Aurelio has lost the desire to invest in Napoli.

“De Laurentiis decides whether to have Napoli or Bari. Maradona has chosen to be the symbol of Napoli, De Laurentiis could have become one.

“Napoli fans want to be pampered and loved, so he has two children [clubs] and not an only child. Napoli and Bari cannot stay in the same series. The President must choose and do it quickly.

“The players in my opinion perceived a distraction from the top. De Laurentiis is a great entrepreneur but now he has to demonstrate his qualities again.

“Bari or Napoli? He must choose."
