This is despite Juventus pulling out of negotiations.

Rai Sport says Napoli are now in contact with United for Darmian, along with Inter Milan.

Inter are regarded as favourites to sign the fullback, who is seen as an alternative to Roma's Alessandro Florenzi.

Darmian faces having to accept a cut on his €4m salary to return to Italy.
