Napoli are eager to negotiate down the asking price of David Ospina with Arsenal.
The Colombian's impressive displays for the Serie A outfit now look to see Napoli take up their option to buy and make his move permanent.
However, Gazzetta dello Sport journalist Nicolo Schira claims Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis is now hoping to get a cheaper fee than oringally agreed last summer.
“Napoli wants to buy the goalkeeper David Ospina from Arsenal. But De Laurentiis offers only €2.5M and wants a discount on the 4 million agreed last summer with the Gunners," he tweeted.
Arsenal signed Ospina from Nice back in 2014 for a fee of around £3m.
