Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly is happy to have chosen Senegal as his international team.
Koulibaly also qualified for France, but insists he has no regrets.
"I was born in France but I have two different cultures, the French and the Senegalese," he said.
"In 1998 I saw France win the World Cup, seeing players like (Lillian) Thuram and (Zinedine) Zidane made me realise that I wanted to become a footballer.
"I think we did well in the last World Cup, for me it was an important experience because we wanted to prove to be one of the best African teams, I want to write the history of Senegalese football, I hope to do it in my future."
