Napoli defender Paolo Cannavaro has shrugged off his Italy World Cup snub.
Cannavaro says he's simply happy to play with Napoli.
"I can't deny it. It's has been the most beautiful season since I have been at Napoli. This city is extraordinary and it knows how to give you credit for every sacrifice," he said.
"I have seen the two faces of Napoli: the enormous pressure that a player who is born here has to endure and the happiness you feel when they share in your success.
"I believe that winning in Napoli is an unreachable sensation. It's more beautiful than a World Cup.
"Last Sunday I sang because I am Napoli's No 1 fan. I dreamt of that final party and the fact that we conquered sixth place with a game to spare liberated the joy that we had inside of us."
