Napoli coach Walter Mazzarri explained starting their 5-3 win over Torino with Edinson Cavani on the bench.

Cavani came off the bench to hit a second-half brace.

Mazzarri said: "I told Cavani that I wanted him fresh for the second half, as if he had started then he'd have lost sharpness towards the end. He understood my logic and reacted exactly the way I hoped he would."
