Napoli coach Edy Reja has been assured his job is safe after crisis talks last night.

Following their home defeat to Genoa, Reja met with president Aurelio de Laurentiis and sports chief Pierpaolo Marino at the San Paolo to discuss the situation.

Reja was assured he had the support of the board, says La Stampa, despite their dramatic form slide.

Meanwhile, Naples sources say former AC Milan and Inter coach Alberto Zaccheroni is under consideration for De Laurentiis.
