Napoli sports chief Pierpaolo Marino insists there's nothing sinister in the exclusion of striker Emanuele Calaio from coach Edy Reja's first team.
Calaio has struggled to break back into Reja's plans since criticising management last month, but Marino says: "If we could play 12 players, then he would be involved.
"I don't think it's right to drop a player who is playing well. Calaio is an important player and I'm sure that when he is called he will give his all for the Napoli shirt."
