Nani future in doubt after ugly row with Man Utd pal Petrucci

Manchester United winger Nani has had an ugly confrontation with teammate Davide Petrucci, it has been revealed. The Sun says the Portuguese winger, 25, initially had a verbal row with reserve team midfielder Petrucci, 20, after a training-ground tackle at the club's Carrington centre.

United's players had to step in to separate the pair after the confrontation later escalated and Nani allegedly threw a punch at Petrucci.

The confrontation will not help Nani's career at Old Trafford. He is already frustrated at not being offered a new contract to improve his current deal.

Nani is on £90,000 a week. He was looking at a new four-year deal worth £130,000 a week but the United board rejected those demands to leave the player in limbo.
