Nakazawa determined to make stronger contribution to LA Galaxy cause

Kyle Nakazawa is looking to build on his club debut and contribute more for the LA Galaxy.

The former Philadelphia Union midfielder came on for an 18-minute cameo as the Galaxy lost 1-0 to Sporting Kansas City on the weekend and the 23-year old is now targeting more game time at a better standard for the reigning champs.

"It was nice getting my first appearance," Nakazawa told MLSsoccer.com.

"Obviously it was not the result anybody wanted but it felt good being healthy again, getting out there and getting some minutes. I'm just looking to build on that and looking to contribute some more."

And Nakazawa is simply targeting a position anywhere in the Galaxy midfield which boasts the likes of David Beckham, Juninho, Marcelo Sarvas and Michael Stephens.

"I'm not looking at it particularly at any position," he added. "I'm most comfortable playing anywhere in the midfield but as far as being able to get on the field and contribute, I'm going to have to be able to fulfill different roles," he said. "I'm just looking to be sharp in those positions."
