Former Celtic midfielder Shunsuke Nakamura says he is ready to give his all for new club Espanyol.
The Japan international will join the Spanish club on a two-year deal when he completes a medical on Jul y 10 but is unsure whether he will break into the first team straight away.
"I don't know whether or not I can get a regular position but I want to give all I have," he told Chuinchi Sports.
The 31-year old was linked with a return to J-League club Yokohama but decided to choose Spain instead, citing the chance to play against the top sides as a major factor.
"There are 14 matches against each of them every year and it is an awesome thing in itself," he told Sports Nippon.
"I feel attached to Yokohama and I thank them for the offer. But playing in Spain has been my dream and I want to try it."
