Real Madrid players have been recorded being left shocked by Nacho's tackle on Girona striker Portu on Saturday.

In the final minutes of their 3-0 defeat to Real Madrid, Portu was on the wrong end of an ugly challenge from Nacho.

The Real defender was sent off for his actions, which saw Portu rushed to hospital in the aftermath. Nacho and Real coach Carlo Ancelotti have since apologised for the tackle.

Movistar have now released footage of the reaction from Real's away bench to the tackle, focusing on Jude Bellingham and Ferland Mendy.

In the images, Bellingham and Mendy appear to comment on the play and the narrator states: “Bellingham doesn't speak, but he makes this face at the moment of the tackle. Nobody on the bench understands it and he finally says: 'Nacho has gone too far'.

"Jude's gestures are clear, as are Ferland's.

“From these gestures it is clear that everyone agrees that there was nothing wrong with letting Portu run when you are winning 3-0," the narrator concluded.
