Stoke City defender Marc Muniesa hopes to feature in Steven Gerrard's final match in English football.

The Potters host Liverpool on the final day of the season on Sunday in what will be the last game of Gerrard in the Reds' jersey and Muniesa wants to be a part of it.

The Spanish defender said: "Gerrard's a legend for Liverpool and for England and it will be a sad day he's leaving English football, but we will enjoy it.

"When you play against these top players they are special occasions."
