Moyes won't get Arteta cash to spend at Everton

Everton manager David Moyes is well aware that he won't be given any of the cash from the sale of Mikel Arteta to use on transfers.

The Toffees sold the Spanish midfielder to Arsenal for £10million on deadline day of the summer market but will not be able to use any of it for new signings as it was immediately to settle a debt with the banks.

"I don't think that is going to be the case," Moyes said.

"I think everybody knew at the time that the bank wanted the money. People knew that really."
