Moyes says he'll continue to lean on Man Utd academy

Manchester United boss David Moyes says he'll continue the tradition of bringing through players from the club's academy.

Six of the Moyes' starting XI were aged 24 or under against Aston Villa on Sunday, with the youngest of them 18-year-old sensation Adnan Januzaj.

Moyes said: "I have to be looking out for the long-term future of Manchester United.

"Part of my remit is to introduce young players and look to the academy to see what we can bring through from the youth.

"It has been a club that has always tried to promote a lot of those boys but the ones you mention [Danny Welbeck, Phil Jones, David De Gea etc] are quite experienced here. They are all pretty consistent Manchester United players now.

"You could probably say Adnan is the least experienced but we also need the experienced players as we've used them in a lot of the games."
