Everton boss David Moyes was pleased with Philippe Senderos' debut for their victory over Wigan Athletic.

Senderos has joined Everton on-loan from Arsenal to the end of the season.

Moyes said: "Philippe did fine. It was steady in a difficult game. I don't think many teams will come here and enjoy playing on the pitch. It will be tough for most teams with the pitch here."
