Real Sociedad coach David Moyes admits he used his time after being sacked at Manchester United to improve his golf handicap.
Moyes says he was hardly away from the golf course after he was axed at Old Trafford.
He said: "My golf got better.
"I played the Donald Trump course in Aberdeen and at Loch Lomond, Turnberry and Lytham.
"I spent a lot of time with my family and I think they enjoyed me being there.
"But after a while I wanted to get back to work again and Real Sociedad gave me a great opportunity."
