Ronaldo struck both goals for Manchester United in yesterday's 2-1 defeat of Everton and Moyes said: "It is very difficult to say how you can handle Ronaldo because he has an ability.

"I thought, in general play, we did quite well against him today but he has moments - like when he came inside and shoots with his left foot.

"But they have people who are soloists and those soloists are the kind of players who win games.

"People like Ronaldo, Wayne Rooney and Carlos Tevez.

"At they moment, they can be soloists and do things other players can't do."
