Manchester United boss David Moyes wants clear commitment from Wayne Rooney.

The Sun says Moyes, who gave Rooney his full debut at Everton as a 16-year-old, has had his differences with the player in the past but they have since made up.

But he now has to decide whether it is best to cash in and spend the £25million they would get for Roo on someone else.

The club are certainly ready to sell. Rooney has two years left on his contract and there are no moves from United to give him a new one.

United’s fans have also turned against him.
