Everton boss David Moyes says they need Nikica Jelavic to start scoring if they want to finish in the top four.
Everton are just six points off a Champions League slot and Moyes believes Jelavic, 27, may be the key to whether they make it or not.
The Goodison boss said: "He can be the difference for us between now and the end of the season.
"If he fires and scores we can have a really strong finish. If he doesn't it could be hard going.
"Last year at this time nearly everything he touched went into the net. We hope we can get him back to where he was before.
"He has missed a few games to see whether he needed a rest.
"Last week he missed a couple against Oldham but that was a good sign. It showed he was getting in good positions again."
