Tottenham's unbeaten Premier League record was in jeopardy after Nacer Chadli put West Brom in front late on but Mauricio Pochettino's side fought their way back into the game.
Dele Alli slotted home an equaliser in the 89th minute and Christian Eriksen came close to scoring an injury-time winner only to be denied by a superb save from Ben Foster.
"In the past, maybe we would have our heads down and be disappointed but we fought back," he told the club's official website.
"It's so difficult to win here but it is everywhere in the Premier League.
"It was disappointing because we played very well. To give away a goal was disappointing but I'm happy we got back into the game."
