Mourinho wants Chelsea's "superman" Drogba at Inter Milan

Chelsea striker Didier Drogba and Inter Milan coach Jose Mourinho have exchanged heartfelt praise on Italian TV. "Mourinho was very important for my career," confessed the Ivory Coast striker on Sky Italia.

On the same channel, the Inter boss was interviewed and did not hesitate with his response.

"I was important for him, but having a player like Drogba makes it easy for a Coach. He was born to work, win, be loyal, a friend and a man who represents the team.

"At Chelsea I was fortunate to have Drogba plus another four or five players with the same temperament. I thank him for speaking highly of me, but I have many reasons to thank him and all those who were with me at Chelsea."

Drogba is a target for Mourinho at Inter and the Special One added: "After winning the FA Cup (with Chelsea) I went to the locker room on my own, as I wanted some quiet time. He came in screaming like crazy that if I didn't go out there to celebrate then he would not pick up the trophy or his medal.

"Obviously I went with him, because he deserved that moment. On my final day at Chelsea I saw this giant who seemed like a superman, but he was crying like a baby."
