Jose Mourinho wants a say on English youth development if he is to take on the national team job, it has been revealed.
In the talks, Mourinho's agent Jorge Mendes told the FA Mourinho wants guarantees he would be able to restructure the way England is run, says The Sun.
The former Chelsea boss would like to see an Academy of Football for young talents - much like the celebrated Clairefontaine academy in France.
He also wants to establish a medical department working exclusively for the FA.
He is amazed that England use Arsenal's physio Gary Lewin instead of having a full-time staff.
