Mourinho threatens Real Madrid plans for Kane, Neymar as he seeks 'fantasy' signing

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is willing to spend big money to bring a game-breaking star to Old Trafford this summer.

Intermediaries close to Real Madrid have informed president Florentino Perez that United are muscling in on his plans ahead of the transfer window swinging open.

Mourinho wants to find a world class 'fantasy' player capable of breaking open games and is prepared to interfere with Perez's market plans to land the right name.

Tottenham striker Harry Kane, PSG star Neymar, Atletico Madrid ace Antoine Griezmann and the unlikely Liverpool striker Mohamed Salah are all on Mourinho's agenda, says Diario Gol.

Significantly, Kane and Neymar are also on Perez's shopping list and there is a concern the presence of Cristiano Ronaldo could be a problem for Real.

Unlike Perez, Mourinho can assure any superstar signing he will arrive at United as their main man - unlike at Real, where they would always be expected to play second fiddle to Ronaldo.
