Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho knows they face a big challenge next season with no team having retained the Premier League trophy since Manchester United won it three times in succession between 2007-09. "We will have to be better next season than this season," said Mourinho.

"If we think that's enough we will be in a difficult situation.

"All the big clubs are not happy and will try to react. Other teams will improve, invest, and not accept Chelsea are champions like this season with three matches to go.

"We are the team everybody wants to beat. Nobody is better than us. We are the best team in the country.

"The League is so competitive so we need to start with the same motivation and desire as we did at the beginning of this season.

"At the same time we also have to try to do better in the Champions League. This season we went out without losing a match but obviously we will try to do better in European football."
