Manchester United and Manchester City are fighting over Everton defender John Stones.
The Sun says United are ready to go head to head with Manchester City in the race to sign Stones.
The Everton defender is high on the wanted list for incoming City boss Pep Guardiola as he prepares to overhaul the squad at the Etihad Stadium.
But United's manager in waiting Jose Mourinho has told the club to go all out to get the 21-year-old England star to Old Trafford.
Mourinho wanted to sign Stones when he was Chelsea boss last summer, but Everton rejected two bids which went as high as £45million.
