Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has been explaining how unsettled players will be allowed to leave Old Trafford if the right offer is received.
"We didn't know Memphis and Schneiderlin were going and we allowed them to go because the right offer arrived," said Mourinho.
"If players are not totally happy I don't think it is human to stop them. Only a bad offer, or no offer stops them. If the players are not happy, I won't stop them going."
On Ashley Young, who has been linked with a move to China, Mourinho added: "The first time I heard about it was when I was told it was in the media, unless Ashley Young tells me I don't take any notice. He hasn't."
