Inter Milan boss Jose Mourinho insists there was no alleged incident with Manchester United fans on Wednesday night.

There are claims the former Chelsea manager, 46, flipped after he was goaded in a car park by jubilant home supporters celebrating their 2-0 Champions League victory.

But Eladio Parames, spokesman for Mourinho - who dubbed himself The Special One while boss at Chelsea - said: "I have talked with Jose and this is very strange. Nothing happened at all.

"He shook hands with the fans. He went to the bus and nothing happened. Maybe the guy was drunk, I don't know."
