Moses determined to return for Wigan ahead of schedule

Victor Moses is adamant he will return ahead of schedule at Wigan Athletic.

The former Crystal Palace winger is determined to beat that initial prognosis, and return in time to make a real difference in the second half of the season.

He told the Wigan Observer: "Obviously the shoulder is sore, but I've had the operation now and I just want to get back playing as quickly as possible.

"People are saying three months but I don't think I'll be out that long if I work hard - at least I hope not.

"This season's been such a frustrating season for me - right from the start - with injuries and stuff.

"But that's football, and things like this are going to happen. I just want to play football and I could have done without another injury coming along.

"All I'm thinking about is getting back to full fitness and getting back out on the pitch."
