Morrison feared for West Brom future under Clarke

James Morrison feels he's been given a new lease of life under new West Bromwich Albion manager Pepe Mel.

The midfielder was on the outer under former manager Steve Clarke.

Morrison admitted: "When a new manager comes in it does help you settle down again - and it can give you that spark.

"Some people were unhappy before and some weren't.

Obviously, I wasn't happy because I wasn't playing but that's all I want to say about that.

"The senior players here are all aware of our situation and of their responsibility. It is down to us to get this team back up the table."
