Morocco and QPR midfielder Ilias Chair has hailed coach Walid Regragui.

Ahead of their World Cup semifinal against France, Chair sung the praises of his Morocco coach.

He said, "I think he has shown that he is the best manager at this tournament, not just as a coach but as a man.

"Whenever you have a problem, we, the players, can go to him. In that moment he is our dad or our big brother, not just a coach. Tomorrow, I think he will show to the world he is the best man for this job."

Meanwhile, Regragui said: "We are a very passionate people. At least 20,000 people are going to come here to watch the match. It shows the passion we have for football. If we can show that, that is fantastic. If we can make young people around the world dream then that is fantastic.

"Morocco is a wonderful country. We are a welcoming people, we are generous. We are showing what Moroccan people are to people around the world. Football has given us the opportunity to do that and for that we are grateful."
