Morison to leave Millwall for Norwich

Millwall striker Steve Morison is a step closer to joining Norwich City after the Lions allowed him to talk to the Canaries.

The 27-year old Wales international has emerged as a strong target for Norwich boss Paul Lambert who is preparing for life in the Premier League.

The Carrow Road club have already made three offers for Morison which Millwall have rejected but their latest bid has been accepted and the transfer hinges on personal terms.

"We have allowed Steve to talk to a Premiership club having negotiated a deal that has matched our valuation," Millwall chief executive Andy Ambler told the club's official website.

"It is now for Norwich and Steve to agree terms."
