Morgan De Sanctis is delighted with his move to AS Roma.
The former Napoli goalkeeper made the switch last week.
"It's true that Inter wanted me, but it didn't go the way I expected. Never mind," the 36-year-old told Il Mattino.
"I chose Roma because they had already tried to sign me in January."
The move was delayed for a few days amid reports of disagreements with Napoli over a golden handshake payment.
"I will always have a fantastic memory of my years in the Napoli jersey. I paid out of my own pocket for Napoli twice - when I arrived and when I left."
