Former Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti was welcomed back to the club's training HQ yesterday.

It's the first time in ten years that Moratti has been seen at the training centre.

He later said: “For me it's a very nice homecoming, emotional, a very nice thing. Thank you for the invitation, I'm curious to see what has changed in recent years.

“This year we are having a lot of fun, the team is very strong and also plays well. Maybe (best ever, ed.), I don't know, it's difficult to make comparisons even for the opponents you meet.

“I have always said that for me this year Inter were super favourites for the Scudetto, they play well, they're stronger, they have more consistency, in short there is no comparison.

“Instead in the Champions League I am more superstitious, you have to see match by match."
