Luke Moore has revealed he's keen to sign a new contract at Aston Villa.
The England U21 striker told Villa's website: "I've spoken to the manager, but these things take time.
"I'm a Villa boy now, I've been here since I was eight years old, so I don't need to say where I want to be really.
"There have been a few clubs I've been linked with but that's out of my hands. All I know is that the manager's trying to sort out a new contract which for me means I'm in his future plans."
Moore continued: "Ideally, I'll be staying here, that's probably the case if the boss says he wants me to stay then that's good enough for me.
"Like most young players here, we've been getting some confidence from what the manager's been saying.
"I've got a year left, but it's not a problem at the moment. I'm relaxed about it."
