Montreal Impact have confirmed Alberto Gilardino is trialling with them.

The striker was released by Pescara over the summer.

“The Montreal Impact announced on Monday that Italian striker Alberto Gilardino will train with the club at its Centre Nutrilait facility, starting Tuesday," the MLS club confirmed.

“The former Milan and Fiorentina player, who also played one Serie A season with Bologna FC 1909 in 2012-13, is now 35 years old and wants to get back in shape in Montreal."
