AS Monaco striker Radamel Falcao has spoken of his relationship with Louis van Gaal at Manchester United.
Van Gaal announced his retirement on Monday after winning seven league titles, the Champions League and the FA Cup across a 25-year managerial career with five different clubs.
The 33-year-old was asked about the managers he has served under during his 14-year career and picked out Van Gaal as one for whom it gave him particular pleasure to work.
“Van Gaal, he's special," he said. "He's someone who says things in the face. That's pretty positive.
"But he is very ingrained with his philosophy, and sometimes it's a bit weird. I am very proud, however, to have worked with him."
