Monaco set Arsenal deadline to sell Squillaci

AS Monaco have set Arsenal a deadline to sell them defender Sebastien Squillaci.

The Mirror says the French centre-half has barely played this season despite Arsenal's problems with their injury-riddled defence, and costly mistakes in his last appearance two weeks ago gifted the three points to opponents Fulham.

Monaco were relegated to France's second tier last season but are bankrolled by a Russian billionaire, Dmitry Rybolovlev, and he is keen to bring in players.

Monaco have told Arsenal they want a decision on a deal for the 31-year-old in the next seven days.
