AS Monaco striker Eidur Gudjohnsen is set to join Tottenham on loan for the second time.
The Icelandic star spent the last part of last season at White Hart Lane and reports suggest he is set to complete another short-term deal in the next few days.
Monaco boss Guy Lacombe admitted that the former Chelsea and Barcelona man preferred England although he did not reveal the length of the proposed deal.
"He wants to stay in England," Lacombe confirmed.
