AS Monaco have rejected Manchester United attempts to open talks for Axel Disasi.

The France international is United manager Erik ten Hag's top defensive transfer target, says Telefoot.

However, United's approach to ASM has been knocked back this week, with management insisting Disasi will not move during this transfer window.

ASM have no interest in further weakening their defence after selling Benoit Badiashile to Chelsea earlier this month.

United, meanwhile, will continue to push ASM to open talks for Disasi.
