Monaco eyeing move for Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette

AS Monaco are eyeing a summer move for Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette.

The Mirror says Lacazette, who turns 30 in May, has one year left on his current contract and appears to have fallen down the pecking order in recent weeks.

His situation has alerted other European clubs and French giants Monaco are watching developments closely to see if he could be allowed to leave the Emirates in the summer.

Lacazette joined Arsenal in 2017, won the FA Cup last summer but has often found himself having to share striker duties with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Aubameyang has a strong relationship with Lacazette who has stressed his love for the club on numerous occasions but Arsenal would be reluctant to let him run his contract into the final year.
