Monaco are eyeing Leicester City striker Islam Slimani.
Sky Sports says the 29-year-old Algerian heads a shortlist of three strikers wanted by the French club, who are set to lose their young striker Kylian Mbappe to Paris St-Germain before the transfer deadline closes on Thursday.
The French champions have earmarked Slimani, Torino's Andrea Belotti and Chelsea's Diego Costa, who is involved in a public row with his club, as potential replacements.
Mbappe is expected to move to PSG on a season-long loan with a permanent deal in excess of £100million following in the summer.
