Monaco chief admits 'major clubs' want Chelsea, Man Utd target Bernardo Silva

Monaco vice-president Vadim Vasilyev admits they face a battle to keep hold of Bernardo Silva.

The Sun says Manchester United have held a long-standing interest in the Portuguese talent, with Jose Mourinho ready to splash out £70million on his signature.

And Chelsea are another team believed to be keeping a close eye on Silva — as are Manchester City, Barcelona and Real Madrid.

When asked if there had been interest, Vadim Vasilyev told The Sunday Times : “Yes, yes. I really don't want to go into details, but for all our major players. we have interest from major European clubs.

“This is not the right time to talk about it.

“Let's finish the season and then we look at the project for next season.

“Me, the coach and the players are focused on this season."
