Moggi blasts Inter Milan boss Mourinho over media gag

Former Juventus chief Luciano Moggi has attacked Inter Milan coach Jose Mourinho over his self-imposed media ban.

"A strong Mourinho would have looked on at the faults of Orsato with indifference, but the 'Special One' of today doesn't feel sufficiently strong. He sees enemies everywhere," Moggi wrote in Libero.

"The Juventus side that hasn't missed a beat had already exhausted his Saturday practice. If you take a few points off Juve then you'll have another Mourinho entirely, the one who was almost indomitable last year, going crazy on TV. Now he is angry and almost enraged, sending his director of sport Marco Branca in front of the microphones."

Moggi didn't stop there either, insinuating that Mourinho's side benefit from refereeing decisions.

"I remain convinced that Mourinho would have shown another face entirely if Juventus weren't in front of him and Cagliari hadn't risked sending him five points behind the Bianconeri," Moggi ranted.

"It has to have bothered him having a penalty given against his side. He was used to not conceding one for 53 games and the foul that wasn't really evident has contributed to him flying into a rage. But this is the Mou-manager, who is acting his part and doing it in the best way."
